Late-Tang clerk Lu Sheng, trapped by life yet obsessed with painting, receives a porcelain pillow in a grotto. He dreams of glory, forgets his brush, then falls and is exiled. On a cold moonlit road, he finds his true self again. He wakes. He paints.
Lu Sheng's doubt is ours. To wake — and keep painting — is our choice.
唐末瓜州的小吏卢生，痴于绘画，但困于生计。于佛窟中得道人授予瓷枕，坠入盛唐之梦，让他忘却画笔，享尽荣华，而后又遭跌落、流放，孤月寒途中，终于重新找回了作画的初心，梦醒，道人与枕皆已不见。他又重新拿起了画笔。
卢生之惑，也是我们之惑，醒来，并继续画下去—也是我们的选择。
